Al Shabab vs Al Nassr: Win 5-2, Ronaldo Cs to the King’s Cup Semifinals
The King’s Cup quarter-finals brought Al Shabab and Al Nassr together. Cristiano Ronaldo cs emerged victorious with a score of 5-2.
Al Shabab vs Al Nassr took place at Al Shabab Club Stadium, Tuesday (12/12/2023) early morning WIB. The visitors took the lead through Seko Fofana in the 17th minute.
Al Shabab then equalized the score at 1-1 in the 24th minute through Carlos Junior. Four minutes later, Al Nassr took the lead 2-1 through Sadio Mane.
The host is increasingly in a pressure situation and has difficulty developing the game. Al Nassr then increased the score to 3-1 in first half injury time through Abdulrahman Ghareeb, who lasted until halftime.
Al Shabab actually caused quite a lot of trouble for Al Nassr in the second half. However, the visiting team was still able to maintain its defense well.
Al Nassr increased their lead to 4-1 in the 74th minute. Cristiano Ronaldo scored a goal after making a one-two pass with Otavinho.
Al Shabab threatened Al Nassr at the end of the match. Hanin Diallo fired a shot from close range, but the ball was wide of the target.
Al Shabab’s consolation goal finally came in the 90th minute. Hattan Bahebri scored a goal by grabbing the rebound from Yannick Carrasco’s shot.
Al Nassr was also able to add a goal through Mohammed Maran. Not long after that goal, the match was over and Al Nassr won 5-2 to advance to the semifinals.
